How is any of this bringing any sort of Glory to Jesus Christ the Savior of the World? I want to have an "outside-the-box" mentality, but somewhere as a true disciple of Jesus, you have to draw the line and ask, Does this music bring people to Christ or does it make people question and withdrawal from Christ? I consider this questionable, to say the least.

the music is good I think & very nicely performed. the lyrics are kinda weird but they're making a statement in the black metal world :)

Oh okay, well sorry about calling you a n00b. :P
But yeah, I don't like music just for being christian; I hate Demon Hunter, I hate Third Day, I hate all the contemporary crap they play on the radio, like Jeremy Camp and Jars of Clay and whatnot. The music always comes first with me. :)

I can understand that point of view somewhat, I like it when bands have anti-racist lyrics, but that's only when the music's actually good. You say otherwise in the original reply though, music is good based on it's themes; "christian music ftw". :)
(and that you actually called me a noob makes the whole ordeal just that much worse) |
