I hear what you're sayin, but man, this music is about NOT thinkin so much about what you play. The problem with the human mind is that it tries to put into logic what the heart feels, and not everything your heart and body does can be comprehended. This, jazz, is the music of the human soul and voice, and as long as you FEEL the music, everything else falls in place. Thinking too much will let you fail, and forget about the time and rhythm, when it should just come naturally, man.
