Thats a fun fact... my brother without have seen the movie he wanted to do the exact same thing! go to alaska:P I kept telling him that its stupid and that he would die but he kept telling me that I dont understand! I guess guys like him exist and its not just a movie:P Make your dreams come true... (just be careful with what you put in your mouth:P)

any human who is guided by reason/rationality is not slave to anything, if you choose to be a slave to a desire( if by desire you mean that which brings you pleasure) to you create your own prison, pleasure is necessary to humans because it validates and is a reward for achievment. youre right, we do make bad decisions sometimes, but by use of reason and learning, we are free to correct our errors, which ants cannot do.
