Turner,
What struck me is the train's acceleration. He had to wait at MP 18 Siding (around the corner) for Amtrak Train #513 with P32-8BWH 510. Usually, when a train leaves, they go about 25 mph, but when he got the signal, he must be going about 40 mph within 3/4 a mile. When the train passes by me so fast, I was scratching my head why. I was able to figure out at the end, because of the short train with 4 big horsepower locomotives, it was able to accelerate fast. Thought you want to know.

Apparently that's what happened. He put the tripod well over the yellow line and I think the train's snowplow, from my own perspective, almost hit it. The crew gave me a friendly wave, but as he pass by, he saw the tripod. They gave both of those railfanner a middle finger and reported to BNSF and Edmonds PD. Thank god that I'm not reported, but I could have been tangled up, so I decided to head some, since I woke up 6 AM for railfanning. Anyways, thanks for the comment.
