string a bunch of mini computers together to perform algorithms? That's the philosophy behind this right? So you are more-less creating a "render farm" for stanford. I have to find out a way to use this for Maya 2009 :)

i still dont know what the heck that guy is talking about, but proteins are the machines of your body that are small enough to do their work on really small things, like a sugar molecule for instance. the reason it can work on such small things is in its shape. A protein starts out as a strand and morphs into a useful shape. They are important to everything in your body. The only way we can understand the way they morph is with a lot of math. Computers can do the math real well. |
