It was strange. When I was little, this was all I really knew of music. I never used to be into music much and now I love it! This is just one of many songs I've heard years later and thought 'WOW I REMEMBER THAT!'. Simply Red are great for memorable songs. The funnier thing is that I'll probably listen to this then stick on Alter Bridge! Thats how much my musical tastes have changed. lol

I see nothin sad about this song, to me this song had a good beat to it. Its a good song to cruise to. Hehheeh, when I used to have some alcohol in my system, me and my girl would cuddle up to this, this song would get her in the mood to make out, with the picture of the roller coaster in our minds while we made out. Depends on a person's expieriences when it comes to any song, mine were nothin, but happy memories. As depicted in this video, by people having fun.

Seems a lot of people have sad stories aout this song, I have one too, when I was 13 I was in love with this girl at school but she hated me, looking back I can't blame her I was a bit of a loser and I didn't make the effort to just be her friend and see what happens I just acted like an obsessed idiot. Anyway when I felt upset about her hating me, I'd listen to this and cry my eyes out, even now, 11-years later I still feel a little sad listening to it

That was me and my dad's song. We used to jump and scream to that song. But in this moment we don't talk together, so that song is really special to me. :(
