WROOONG! I'm 19 and own a Kel-Tec .380, you have to be at least 18 to buy and own a handgun, a Federal Firearms License (FFL)holder can't sell me one but you can buy privately from individuals.

i still dont see myself buying it at that age either.

07mantle07 i don't see you buying that when you turn 18. As in the US the law is 21 to buy a hand gun..

If you find yourself in a pinch like myself where you don't have a screwdriver or any other thin pry tool to remove the pin, use a spent brass casing and pry it from the inside of the casing with a cleaning rod or a pen.

I bought 100 rounds to break mine in and the trigger broke on the 21st round. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. I've sent it back to Ruger and await its repair. According to Google searches, the pivot pin is prone to breaking, crappy metal.

well done. I would get out of the habit of putting your thumb in the way of the barrel.

You're pretty lucky with a one-day wait. I just got on a list for one, behind 40-50 other people. So far, that shop has received 12 units since January. If I'm lucky, I'll see an LCP by 2010. :P Ruger needs to step up some production, or something.

It was much easier to follow this LCP video than the printed manual that came with the LCP.
Thanks!

weird for a blowback not to have a fixed barrel |
