Here's the story -- well, the first five years -- in the life of Quinn: a wonderful, exuberant, mostly non-verbal boy with autism. You can see how the signs appeared over time, even before his diagnosis was made at 21 months. *** Teachers/schools/community service groups: You may use this video as part of autism awareness or positive educational training. No additional permission is required. (I can provide a higher-resolution version if needed.) NOTE: Unfortunately, I no longer have the faceautism.org domain name mentioned in the video -- so I have no idea what might end up on there. Sorry. well one thing you got right is is is insulting...you will be touched by autism at some point. daily is difficult but i am a better person for knowing my son and many of his unjudgemental friends...

Video is great!! Your son is adorable.I teach students with Autism in an inclusion program. All of my students may have Autism, but they are all sooooooooo different. That's why they call it Autism Spectrum.

Mine is 13, on top of autism is blind too. My Jory sounds a bit like your son. Very deeply loved, but can be hard to care for, and now add puberty to the mix, Oh Boy!

Great video! Good to get a positive message out there.

Its weird. Stueybear. I have mixed feelings about this video. I don't know the child in the video.. so whatever, take it with a grain of insult and salt, and my own naivity. BUT, i think it is kind of misleading. The context in which ive seen asd children smile, is not something i could ever imagine putting to music, even if solitude...a, was in the lyrics. I like that a parent is so proud of their asd child though. It is a thing to be admired and envied, not something to be scorned.
