Ah! It was, good eye! :) Hehe... you should try one of my feeder projects sometime - Peaches might like to try it! Of course, I'm not sure - I had someone that tried it out with a Ring-tailed Lemur a few months ago and he wasn't really interested, but that's because he was too spoiled - he didn't *want* to work for the food when he knew he didn't have to... I don't know if Peaches would do that or not... :)

Just wondered what he was eating. I looked like buttered bread :O)

That's cool! I thought I replied to this one! :) Sorry about that - good luck with that if you try it out again! I'd like to see it sometime if you have a chance to capture some vids from it!

Well, for *this* particular feeder, I have bits of meat torn off of a soup bone (not cooked) and small pieces of buttered bread, and a little peanut butter on the top of the feeder (it's what he's licking off in the beginning) Why do you ask? Are you interested in trying one out? :)

Yes, definitely!! Thanks for saying so! :)

What do you put in your feeder ?

I have got to get in on this YT things. You guys are eating well. This feeder is a lot better than eating out of a trashcan. Way to go taburineagle, you are a saint for feeding my brothers. Possum Power Baby!!!!!!!!

"Why" do I do it? It gives me insight into how different animals think, it lets me see them work to get food out of it and it gives me a chance to get more candid video of them when I have a remote camera hooked up. I have a lot of "nice" feeders too, this project is more of an enrichment activity than it is a feeder. Regardless though, it's not anti-"nice", or bad in any way.

Why would you have a wildlife feeder like this? Is there something I don't understand? I feed birds, chipmunks, squirrels, and raccoons all year everyday and have a nice feeder to offer them food. |
