Your the bigger idiot by far. Ireland refers to the Island of Ireland. People who are born in North Ireland say they are born in Ireland, people who are born in southern Ireland say they were born in Ireland. I have never once met someone who said they live or were born in the republic of ireland. They always and only say ireland. And my grandparents left Ireland because they were old enough to remember hitler's socialist rule and they saw how the UK and Ireland are slowly turning the same way.
