I actually knew both the versions, but was never able to connect them:( While listening to both I always had that kind of unpleasant feeling that I heard it somewhere else, but couldn't recall... So thanks 4 evidantiating the link!!
And btw, I love the way you mixed the 2 versions in the second half of the vid!!

I used to work for Disney and yes, Robin Hood is the source of the Hampster Dance originally recorded for the 1973 film by Roger Miller
