John was the most interesting, but Paul was the most prolific. He started making records in 1963 and produced at least one a year into the 1980s. John had several breaks for peace and breadmaking and getting hammered with Harry & Keith & Klaus & Ringo while bonking Mae Pang. John stopped touring around 1970. This album WAtSoS not Paul's best but not his worst (Wings Wild Life for the worst? Band on the Run for best ?). But P&J both suffered musically for working apart IMHO.

I'm sorry but I find the song embarrassing. It's bubble gum pop at it's worse.
Don't get me wrong, it's still better than what most others could do. After all, it's Paul McCartney! I just don't think it was worthy of him. Too teeny bopper and bubble bum for my liking. I didn't know it made song of the year.

are you kidding me? Song of the year. Beautiful and happy song. Makes people feel good....isn't that what music is all about? Please! There could be no higher accomplishment.
