this act of bying back people, is a problem, I think they make the problem of slave trading worse. Black markets happen because there is a market for it, if no one would buy them, no one would take them from thier homes. they may be buying back the freedom of a few but their acts encourage the capture and enslavement of many more in the future. this solves nothing. . . I cry for an answer. . .

I hear that. But the thing is, it can't be both ways. The one drop rule has ment for centuries that if anyone has even a "drop" of black in their history back generations, they would be considered black and therefore a slave in slavery times, or a second class person after slavery times. Hence anyone even like Lena Horne who looked white would not be accepted and make it in films etc. That's why people are so happy that things seem to have changed minds...in US terms, he IS black!

Somalis are black and are part of the ancient ethnic group the Cushites. The only mixed people in Somalia are the banadiri people who live along the southern coast. How can somalis be related to arabs and indians when Somalis have none of their features...we are not fat, stocky, hairy, arab nosed or smell like stinky curry or even worship a bitch with 20 hands.
