Ibn Hisham, an early Muslim historian, collected Ibn Ishaq's Sira and added his notes to it; in regards to Dhul-Qarnayn, Ibn Hisham noted:
"Dhu al-Qarnain is Alexander the Greek, the king of Persia and Greece, or the king of the east and the west, for because of this he was called Dhul-Qarnayn [meaning, 'the two-horned one']..."

Daniel 8:5--8 and 21--22 states that a King of Greece will conquer the Medes and Persians but then die at the height of his power and have his kingdom broken into four kingdoms.

alexander the greak spoke an ancient greek doric dialect.whorshipped the greek gods.fought for greeks.Even the currency in macedonia was the greek drahma.macedonia was an ancient greek kingdom.Ancient Macedonia has no connection with the People from scopje that came to the area 1000 years after alexander.Macedonian is an ancient Doric greek dialect and not a slavo-bulgarian dialect they speak in Scopje.Either u like it or not.

Alexander is my favorite war strategist of all time. I don't know near as much about him as I would like or as some of you probably do. However, the subject interests me tremendously.
It is incredible that after 11 years of battle he wouldn't lose not even one battle.
I had heard the story of him cutting the knot before on the History Channel. That is very inventive and creative and one of the reasons he interests me so much. He is inventive and original.
