Look man. I would rather have Obama in office than McCain. I live in Pennsylvania so every vote really counts here. If I lived in a solid blue state I would vote for a third party. But never at the expense of empowering the party I like the least.

what I truly detest about alot of social programs is that they are avaliable only for those who know how to use them, how to work em. Then you get groups of people who exist off working these programs while the average person doesn't figure out how to use them to their full potential. I would rather have a much more robust market and 40-80$ or even more per check, and I would leave any gaps up to private charities.

If you ask me I give the average person a little more credit, all of this international politics is alot to know considering knowing really doesn't enhance their lives much. You can't reach people like that with elitist statements and arrogant condescending language. The only fact u presented was voter apathy the rest of your statement is opinion. I fail to see how the problem is Capatalism and how having more of our money taken from our checks and plunged into social programs would enhance our situation. that sir is the difference between socialism and capitalism, he made an arrogant and unfounded statement and I called him on it and you are just are arrogant as he is. If anything I would want to go more capatalist and ABOLISH the fed (central bank) which is a socialist concept. As 4 voter apathy hes right but hows that capitalism?
