Overestimated? I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say? You would be hard pressed to make a case to say that their influence on modern rock is overestimated - in fact, I doubt anyone could truly make a logical argument. Ask nearly any true blues/rock band and LZ would be listed in their undoubtedly long list of influences; more oft than any other.
