Hamsters are cute but make terrible parents. They eat their young. I would know I had hamsters at 11 and the female went through most of her poor babies. She was particularly hateful though. She attacked the father constantly and bit down his little hamster ****. She wouldn't let go and he dragged her all over the cage, the poor thing. He was finally able to free himself of her when he went to the highest part of their cage then jumped down. But she did it all over again.....
