I really hope that everyone appreciates the skill it took to write this song with such flow. Its hard to talk about our governments corruption in a rap song and make it so god damn dope!!! Brother Ali....this song is a legend in my book!

Song sounds good, video looks good. Brother Ali's from my city, so I have that appreciation too. All this rap vs metal, i.e. "genre battles" don't exist for me. I don't put things into genres. People first, then music --> I know that nobody really represents radio music meaningfully, so toss that out. I meet people, if they're cool, I'll get to them better thru music. Whatever that music is. Music is community, not disunity. And yeah, I actually do agree with the allegory of the song.

I checked it out and got that he was falsely labeled as black, but still greatly influenced by the black community... just like most other people heard.

i dont understand how people can say metal is better than rap. metal musicians are just a bunch of rich kids stuck in the rebellious teenager attitude. just look at nicolas cage's son. now im not gonna say rap isnt crap because the shit that people see on tv is. but hip-hop is a beautiful thing that rose from the trash heaps of the bronx. every genre has shit music in it. it's what you listen to. so dont be a closed minded douchebag and group Brother Ali with the shit you see on television, okay
