I have no religion, War and the death of man has came about from people and there religion. I try to serve a God that i can understand. As far as Church goes i do not go. And have no reason to. I have a few people who i speak about the lord God of Abraham. I would rather do what you say waste my time believing in a co-called fairytale and if i am wrong then no harm done. So then i wake up as a plant, lol. But what if. What if there right. That is a large risk to take.

Its not completely unbiased. The scientists in the world are divided if this is true or not. What he did was to bring it to the attention of the normal man.
I can not tell that what he talks about is true or not but I do know that if it is then its good that we do something about it as soon as possible.
Its a fact though that the earth does get warmer, wheter its from the co2 or not can be argued about. We have loads of other greenhouse gases aswell.

I believe there should be a deeper reason for becoming religous than that you were expected to by your family or that it was the path of least resistance.
What if you lived a life where you never came into contact with organised religion? Would you go to hell for being an unbeliever?
Do you really think a supernatural being or essence would have the human failings of arrogance and pride? If not, why does every religion force its followers to worship and continually praise their icon?

I'm not an aetheist. I am agnostic meaning I am open to the possibility of the Universe being much more complex than it seems.
Why? Because after growing up in a Christian environment no one could explain to me why they believed one form of religion over another. Because their family did? Because they happened to grow up in a Christian rather than Muslim or Hindu environment? Isn't that a bit of a cop out that you are happy to believe whichever religion your family and friends do?

..and by the same token, why did you pick the religion of atheism?
In any event, I do admire your faith; I don't have enough faith to be an atheist. That takes a lot more than I have for sure.

If you believe in Heaven do you believe in other religious ideals such as nirvana, reincarnation, 40 virgins etc etc?
If not, what makes your religion real and the others false?
Why did you pick Christianity?

What work exactly did Al Gore do? Except reiterate what was already biased and largely unproven propaganda. I.E. his lag chart of Co2 and temperature.

Or are you fooled to think it is a lie so you do not enter Heaven.

If taking the difficult path of questioning your existance rather than blindly believing a 2000 year old fairytale is the path to so called 'hell' then so be it. |
