The best version of Sultans of Swing that I'm aware of. Great playing, great arrangement, great sound (for a bootleg). July, 10 1985, Wembley UK. The first minute or so is missing because of the 10min restriction on youtube - but believe me, the ending is better...

he is a spur man, he is one of the most rythmic guitar player ever and his delivarance on stage is just over the top. Try to sing while you play like him and you just cant, nobody can!! And you complain that what he do on stage is over practiced, its not posible to deliver that kind of preformance if the band has not practis the hole thing down no every second of every song. No one can jam that god, is like u2,the later ac/dc and pink floyd, its the closest think to perfect we will ever see.

I wish Mark wouldn't use the same delivery in every concert, he tries to come off as spur of the moment with some of his lyrics live in concert when in fact its rehearsed and planned that way, comes off wrong to me

For those who aren't familiar with the UK, Mark uses some quirky ref's ie "The man steps upto the microphone and says "At last" as the Time-Bell rings. A ref to Closing time in Brit pubs and was made law after incidents in 1st world war 1914-18 where drunkeness caused explosions in armament factories. Also notice Mark makes it clear that the intention always was to say "With the Sultans of Swing" except after the Timebell rings where he says "We are the Sultans of Swing"

And yet, the ensemble is missing something... Bach on harpsichord Mozart on viola Vivaldi on violin....yes then this would be perfect.
