For three years, they each had an office on the same floor in a small Chicago building. Obama's office gave thousands of dollars in foundation money to the Ayers' office which housed the Small Schools Workshop.

If Ayers had pure motives he COULD have protested the Vietnam war by setting himself on fire, like the Buddhist monks did. BTW, by leaving South Vietnam, we abandoned millions of people in Southeast Asia to REAL terrorism.

there are many individuals within our government today who are responsible through their actions or inactions for countless deaths. in the thousands or hundreds of thousands depending upon the person. how many people did the weathermen and panthers actually kill? who are the worse terrorists?

The Weather Underground did claim responsibility for bombing this guy's house, but it was never proven that they did, nor did Bill Ayers himself ever admit to any direct connection. This was during a time when you had a lot of radical groups claiming responsbility for things they did not do in order to get into the press. Still, I feel bad for this guy and his family. What a thing to have experienced when you're that young. At least he's able to profit off it with his book... Go America!

What Ayers did to this family was wrong, yes. However, they weren't "nail bombs". They were molatov cocktails. Don't make it sound worse than it really was.
