They do this mainly for recruitment, and to show people how well these guys are really trained, its not like thay just do this to get their jollys. Ya im sure they love doin it but who wouldn't?

soo far only American cars are - Crown Vics, Imapals?
In europe we have lamborghinis, alfa romeros, bmw
is this the only fast car out for US cops?

Here in Kern County, they have b/w and all white cameros in the rural highway areas, they also have dodge rams too for commerical enforcement. CHP ownz all!!

Well do you see all the people in the crowd. My bet is they paid to watch the show. And yes, it does take talent to operate a 2 thousand pound car at 160 miles per hour within inches of one another. thecanoemaker, you got served.
