to be honest you thing the world would be shrinking.. all the gases and polloution we pump up into the atmosphere and all the space stations and rockets and stuff we have in space.. it all came from the earths minerals at one point or another.

all the water could nt be on top of the land if it were then all the world would be under water. also what force would make the world grow? a spining core is what causes tectonic movment but a spining core would not cause the world to expand!

conrad4ever- For a human to write, he needs to be able to spell, yet somehow magically, YOU are enabled to write. Who said there was no water? Did you actually pay attention to the narration? Or just mindlessly look at a cartoon? If you are not a fool, try not to present yourseld as a fool.

If the world were growing it would require aditional growing materails to allow this and it has'nt recived any. also it is common knolage that life began in the sea! how could it do that if the sea at one time did'nt excist!

DarkSworrd512 . As the NEW SPREADS, spread, the water drained off from the continental plates into the new SPREADING OCEANS, NEVER to return.
That is CLEARLY WHY ancient fish fossils are ONLY and EXCLUSIVELY found ON the CONTINENTAL PLATES,,NEVER FOUND from under the DEEP OCEANS.
In the 60's this incredible contradiction caused the Geological community to measure the ages of the DEEP OCEANS.
1. 50 percent is under 70 MYO .
2. No area of the deep oceans is under 180 Million Years Old.

Don' reading. Over PWN you 177. You did write that ther was no dinosaurs in Chile because of the mountains. You slipd bad time man. You were wrong.
DarkSword512 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
aah. ty for letting me know.
just couldnt see much evidence in this video that the earth grew, just that the plates do shift around.

The argunemnt wasn't if they are the same or not. You argued & only argued strongly "There are no Dinosaur bones in Chile" because they couldn't pass the Andes Mountain range.

DarkSword. The CLUES LIE ALL AROUND US, UNHIDDEN, you could say, 'Like pearls before swine'. (No offense intended.) 200 Million Years Ago The waters of the Earth(about 1/4 of what we have today, lay in shallow oceans on the granitic continental crust. More than half the North American plate (Up the middle) was covered by an ocean more than 1,000 feet deep, in which Megalodont fed on sharks.
As the Earth grew and rifts spread, the shallow seas drained off into the NEWER DEEPER SPREADING OCEANS.

this does help explain that the earth's tectonic plates are infact moving (people who are having a hard time believing or can't see any physical proof, then check a picture of the earth - you will find that most countries do infact fit together like a jigsaw puzzle).
It doesn't help explain that the earth is expanding because there is a strong possibility that there were oceans, but the land was more grouped together into one large mass. |
