you dont have to be simple to lead a modest simple life...i think the point is to be simple in the values that you hold as a person "be somthing you'll love and understand"...i dont think ronnie was trying to ovehaul governments or anything just telling people to relax and take a simpler view of thir lives and the world around them

A wonderful image. But I doubt that's true. For starters, basic services that we all rely on to be fed and healthy and which we could never have the same life without rely on capitalism, and hence ultimately on the greedy and ambitious. What's more, in a world of simple people living for the moment, everyone would just try to spend time with people who are attractive and fun and charming, and there would be no use for the ugly and boring and unconfident, who would be left to suffer alone.
