Hey, all of you stupid dickheads. Quit dissing Coal Chamber. They're a good band and no, Nu-Metal is NOT false Metal. I have a good feeling that Nu-Metal might come back strong someday. It's not dead. It's just that there's only a few Nu-Metal bands still playing today. Spineshank just got back together. I also heard that Dez and Meegs just settled their disputes and performed "Loco" with Devildriver at a concert.

its interesting to see the difference between what Dez Fafara tried to accomplish with coal chamber, esspecially with his album "chamber music" and what his new band Devil Drive has put out. Kinda like the difference between a teenage nihilist and an aged person who has actually some wisdom
opeth1234 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
its not nu-metal

your fuckin stupid, pretty much the first nu metal song was by anthrax dipshit. but Basically Korn really started nu metal by pulling elements from songs like bring the noise

Jesus fucking christ when did i ever say that Static-X is nu metal... In my comment I wrote Static-X TRIED to copy... They kinda failed and became like Marilyn Manson with less irritating voice... As for the rest I agree!

First time I've heard someone call Static-X Nu Metal. Sorry to say, but according to everyone, every band that came out between 1998-2002 was always considered Nu Metal, including System of a Down, Disturbed, hell even Mudvayne and Slipknot were pegged with it. I can assure you, Static-X has been nothing but industrial metal at most, rest hard just hard rock. Nu Metal is dead. Live with it. |
