no.. you cannot compare it with MMA of JKD!! We only train little pieces from every art that are usefull in real life combat instead of in compatition fights where there are rules.. we also don't do compatitions but train for our selfs with a little group of 10 people :) not many people know that Tsou Chin excists! Maybe one day people will!

aliran bongkot origin from east java and aliran serak from west java. but bongkot and serak very hard to find it now in indonesia, both old old silat style.
Tsou Chin --> MMA ? or new concept like JKD ?

unlike the most common martial arts this is not written in a book what has a beginning and an end..

I actually trained at "bonkot friesland" ( Friesland is a province in Holland)My dad became european champion twice :) 25 years ago he created his own style/martial art called Tsou Chin. It's a mix of martial arts (Pencak Silat/Aikido/Tai Chi/Russian martial art Systema..etc. We train everything that gives inspiration! yup..old style like bongkot in holland. serak style in US. pencak silat (pentjak is old bahasa indonesia and penchak is pronounce) in euro brought by de vries and de thouars family

pentjak silat is also very popular in Holland.. But thats kinda logic because the indonesian came here after the war! a lot of indos live here now! But the style has been changed compared to the original!
