This is just a Superconductor experiment. We did the exact same thing in my physics lab. A superconductor has no resistance. There is no such thing as a superconductor at room temp so you have to use liquid nitrogen to cool it to about 100 K or -173 C

Well that a magnet (the black thing) and the magnet atracs metal BUT! Wen you add liqud nitroget the magnet dosent atract metal enymore
In fact the magnet reflects metal and that flys
