His finest work is called Daphnis et Chloe. This man was a master of orchestral color. The G Major is catchy, and the Left Hand is interesting, but these are mere garbanzo beans compared with his glorious Daphnis. I play the Daphnis and Chloe on the organ. I have two gigantic organs, but only one of them is for music, if you understand what I'm getting at.

I hate the fact that no one really realizes that Ravel hated his Bolero piece the most. His prized work imo are his piano concertos.
