People slag off the People's Republic of Teesside and have no idea that Smoggy accents and Geordie ones are totally different (like thinking Smith's is a Geordie one) but I can't be arsed to get slag off Newcastle too much. I actually like the accent up there. Not as good as ours but there you go. If someone slags off my hometown I'll defend it and tell 'em they're twat-pikelets.
