Sorry, puctamadre, that message was meant for mcyavuz.
Mcyavuz, do you think that it is smart to support men whose fiscal policies would leave you in a ditch if you suddenly have a turn of luck/fate. A little counter-Christian I would think, though they would claim otherwise. Unless you make over 200+ thousand a year or so your support is in direct betrayal of yourself. In older times it was safer to be a Conservative Republican, now, it can be dangerous and foolish for Middle-Classers. Think.

I will never understand why persons like you heap criticism onto people that actually try to make a difference by revealing hidden truths. And why persons like you tend to vote for the party of the rich white men. You understand that the premise of their thinking is Darwinian, right? Kill or be killed. You know all of the evil social programs that persons like you hate because of welfare mothers, unemployment insurance, etc.? Well, those DO help well-meaning, self-respecting people also.

I would think that, as New Orleans has a reputation for being a tourist attraction all of that new land free of dregs and degenerates will now be able to be used for hotels and shops and other perversions of the native area.

Gte a life pal! Go study economics before offering your ignorance to the audience..

Yeah, the Argentinians conspired with British corporations and Mrs. Thatcher herself to create a crisis. Then the aliens came and privatized corporations. You forgot what she really did. She and the best U.S. president ever brought down walls and fascist communist regimes...

She's saying that downtown New Orleans was full of public housing projects and that the private sector always had an eye on the land. Every thriving city in the U.S. is supported by a downtown that houses major corporations. Those corporations, then, pay state taxes and make the city richer, in addition to providing something essential called "employment". If you swarm downtown areas with public housing projects, where are you going to get revenues from? From beads sold in Mardi Gras?

She is unveiling a mechanism of modern capitalism which I always thought existed but never had this much detailed information as to its exact operation. I don't suggest repressive forms of socialism as an alternative but I also don't support the idea of turning society into one big shopping mall for the propertied.

I am concerned about that possibility. Diebold can make machines at Banks that are 100percent auditible and print out a receipt, but can't do it with voting machines. Yea, sure. lol
The damage they have done to the middle class, and the working class, and to our image in the world, and the giant deficit they have created, to say nothing about the wink wink nod nod war profiteering of their buddies, may not be fixable within one generation. |
