Must we be circumsised? What is the consequences of breaking God's law? Who can pay for my sin/lawbreaking? If I recieve atonement in Yeshua, must He be recrucified when I break the law? The law is never discarded but it is never upheld fully by ANY man, for that reason we are all CLEARLY condemned by it and atonement is our only solution. Yeshua is the atonement and under His grace we live by His spiritual commands less we fall from grace(fulfilment) and be under law(in need of atonement).

I see (or read) many saying that "circumcision of the flesh" of the OT was replaced by "circumcision of the heart" of the NT, but this notion is simply not true. Already in the Torah, we read that God is commanding the children of Israel to circumcise their hearts!!! Appearantly, many don't read/study the Torah anymore.
We have to be like the Bereans and test every teaching someone might bring to us with scripture, instead of simply believing whatever someone tells us (Act 17:11).

My word, Ezekiel does bang on about it, doesn't he? Don't forget Gal. 5:2.

No. Sorry for the confusion. Paul was warning the Galatians about Here's a quotation from the RSV, Galatians 6:12-13 "It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh that would compel you to be circumcised... For even those who receive circumcision do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may glory in your flesh."

I'm confused, are you saying that Paul was condemning Ezekiel as somekind of false prophet? |
