This is one place I have always dreamt of going to since I was very young and seeing it in a National Geographic Magazine... I am going to China next year and guess where I am going. Thank you so much for this piece...

The British Museum in London has this exhibit called "The First Emperor - The Terracotta Army". I saw it, Not to be missed if you're in london.

Very imformative, thank you! I appreciate you having a tour guide explain everything. When we visited XIAN, CHina in Summer of 2005 we did not get this explanation. The original farmer was there, signing his name :) He must be VERY old now!

Fantastic, nice post! I love this Terracotta Army and would dearly like to visit your site one day. I haven't seen much evidence of armourments though, I would have thought that there should be swords and bows and arrows. I guess that the digging still continues and there are many things yet to be discovered. Amazing..
