Both versions are amazing. Johnny Cash's is great because he took Trent's words and made them mean something completely different just by how he sang it (something not many can do, if you think about it). Trent's is great because it came from the heart and, well, he wrote it. Is it that hard to accept both?

stop debating. This is Trents song, he wrote it and you can feel his pain. I love Cash's version, but its not his words. Its trents words and if you listen to both you can tell who's really in pain. gotta love trent.
