1968 Canadian animation, directed by Eva Szasz, from the book by Kees Boeke. They showed this on "Blue Peter" or something in the 1970s and it blew my very small mind.

Until now, I had never seen this pre-Powers Of Ten, pre-Cosmic Voyage film. I was happily surprised to see it on here.

Like many other people who have posted here, this is an amazingly nostalgic film for me - once seen, never forgotten and I still talk about it to people even now. Shame the quality here is a bit...psychedelic, but great to see it again.

That's one very clever piece of animation - I remember this being uaed as a filler between programmes on ATV during the 1970s. I have never forgotten it. Thanks for the upload.

Saw this magic movie on BP too in 1970 or so.I remember thinking - I'm not the only one that thinks we are all part of life's rich pattern. Made "lifeline" in 2002 to celebrate!Peter Neilson of Neilson Hordell provided the rostrum camera

i always thought that PB was full of weird and wonderful things sometimes very surreal. Alan Rothwell was the mysterious almost enigmatic presenter who had a look which would almost say "dont worry kids, it isnt real - or is it??"
