according to Wikipedia ( every students friend) Cydonia is actually the albedo on Mars, so something which reflects the sun. I suppose that could work, the dude reflects the bad guys weapon with a disc, but i think its more likely its due to the Greek Goddess Cydonia, AKA (Athena) Why they didnt call it Knights of Athena, i have no idea.. i guess cydonia is cooler. I do not take Wikipedia as fact before you flame me :P
