This is a very simple, almost primitive tune, and still one of the most eternal ones ever composed. No question that JS Bach had an incredible talent to find beauty in simplicity. The interpretation is excellent.

The most beautiful interpretation I have heard. The way Jacques touches keys is wonderful. All three musicians are just great and I can't get this melody from my head (also playing it on piano :). I think the desire is not fulfilled, that´t why the melody is everlasting.

Improvisation was common during the Baroque era, therefore Loussier is carrying on the tradition.

All that resonates with me. I've shown his stuff to many of my 'jazz' guys, and they just don't seem to get it. Your comments are spot on.

The jazz community ignored him...the classical community snubbed him...yet we saw him every time he was in town - he/they filled theatres across europe for years...because we couldn't get enough...and he made $millions...so he should!
