Great job pacing in a difficult environment!

hmm, I love seeing real SP units still on the rails.. I hate all new locomotives. The pacing could have been better. You were too close, I saw a lot of Tree's..LOL Fall back a little, run even with the second box car and film the locomotives on an angle..You get a better shot that way. Been filing trains since 1979.

they did that to SD40s, SD45s & SD45-2s of Conrail, C&NW, SP, NS, CSX and other units of different heritages. In fact some of the SD40M-2 rebuilds were former Erie Lackawanna SDP45s

they did that to multiple units, didnt they?

SD40M-2 actually. It was rebuilt by MK in 1994 or 1995 out of an ATSF SD45, that's why it has the flared radiators. One of my favorites out of this series is 8579. It was rebuilt out of CNW SD45 968, which was a non-dynamic unit. When MK rebuilt it they removed the rediator flares and added dynamics. It's a pretty strange looking unit.
