Please give me a logical argument on why cops should be "fucked", excluding the assumption you got ticketed for speeding, and somehow it's the cops fault. Or, some sob story on how your parents were some crackheads and they got hauled away and become an orphan, or how you somehow saw a cop beating someone up and made an assumption it was brutality without knowing the full story. Give me an argument without using any of the above. Bet you can't. :)

well, not this time. I don't like cops very much normally but these are cool. I hope this training video reflects the reality. Unfortunately, german police and traffic laws are very anti-cyclist and the speed of cars is more important than the life of a cyclist. Seems to be nicer in the US.

Changing the law isn't going to change anything except who is at fault in the case of an accident. Cyclists will continue the same behavior, not stopping, but now it would be the driver's fault because cyclists are too lazy to stop and start again. It'll just lead to more confusion and probably even more self-righteous attitudes by the cyclists, ( a generalization, yes, but in my 10 years of driving in SF I've yet to see more than 1 cyclist stop at a stop sign).

The other thing, I heard that cyclists will start going through the red lights and stop sign if the new plan goes through.I do not like the idea that cyclists break the law and taking advantages of motorists by engaging in favoritism if things goes their way. Its dangerous to go through a red light as a cyclists and I DO not want to go about breaking laws that keep us safe from harm. I would like some input from all of you as well.

I'm disappointed this video takes the motorists are always at fault approach. I see more bicyclists breaking the law, proportionally speaking, than I do cars though I see more car drivers not paying attention (like the "dooring" incident in this video), which, breaking the law or not, is far too dangerous. Being in the larger more deadly vehicle does require being more situationally aware than most drivers seem to care to bother about.

All drivers and bike riders must see this video to be more educated on their resposibilities ( and rights). The more educated and compliant everyone is while driving or riding bikes, the safer it is for all people, including pedestrians. I am a security guard in an office building in the SF financial district and I'm forever seeing people who are not paying attention to signs, etc. My motto has always been "better safe than sorry". Take care folks, and be safe...
