I saw the whole five hour movie in the christmasdays when it aired on swedish television. god I love this movie so much! even tough it took five hours (and there was no comercialbreaks!) it didn't feel like it lasted longer than any other film.

Someone asked about this music. It is the first few minutes of the second movement from Schumann's Piano Quintet in Eb Major, Opus 44. I agree it is stunning.
