actually this song is taken from a chinese poem with the same title mainly to counter the critics criticism of REM's songs being too sad and this song is maily reffering to the tianmen square massacre which tuk place in china....... who the fuck gave u the idea of drugs skangers!!!!

waltoss well said!! There are some ignorant morons who write in, but the majority of fans are the ones worse listening to, you just get the odd idiot now and then!! Def the best band around, and the nicest-have had the priveledge of meeting them a few times now and a band of that status you would expect then to think they are too good to speak to us mere mortals-total opposite-lovely, down to Earth, gentlemen-Bertis is a top guy too,as are their families!!And free bar :) I was honoured!!
