Union Pacific has trackage rights on the BNSF Funnel at Spokane, Wa. This is Latah Creek bridge where the Funnel splits to Portland, Oregon & Seattle, Wa. Four SD90MACs power this train west, having come down the old Spokane International main from Canada. These trains average about 125 cars with the helpers being spliced smack-dab in the middle. It took over 8 minutes for this train to cross the bridge!

These trains commonly reach 18000 tonnes and may weigh up to 19000 at an extreme.
