I used to be a big fan of the PS1 Armored Core games, and they were a bit better, but still, the series can be so much better with a few tweaks here and there.

The playstation 1 Armored Core games were amazing, they were fast paced and the weapons felt powerful.
When AC went to the PS2 the game got slow and the animations were sloppy making the weapons feel slow and weak.

The stupid thing about the whole series is how the introduction is always freaking awesome but the gameplay is slugish and slow.
It makes no sense how the games aren't as fast or as slow as the introduction makes them seem to be.
