And thus so I guess it should be said that christianity is not able to persuade and encourage through reasonable discussion, its words, ideas, and phillosophies. Instead sadly by your admittance, Chrisianity would rather adopt the lowest common denominator so traditionally tried and tested by many a revilled and ultimately overthrown dictatorial leadership and use FEAR to recruit. I will not stoop to this level and prefer to show intent through good and sincere daily actions without threats.

Arabianpoet - Well if I find myself in a difficult situation then all I can do is to try and resolve the situation based on experience, knowledge or the use of force (if there is absolutely no other way out). I don't believe in a god, so it wouldn't make much sense for me to waste my time praying. I'm not saying that there isn't a god because i simply don't know. But I don't believe that there is one.

I do not "pray" when im in trouble. A) I do not get my ass into trouble, I'm a kind person who thinks of all the consequences of my actions. B) When i against all odds get my ass into trouble, I GET MY ASS OUT OF TROUBLE. "Merciful and kind" You believe in hell?... No religion hasnt even been tought to all humans.
