Duplicate content is more about ratio of duplicated content to original content. If every bio page is the SAME content on a page with no other content around it, you may run into a SMALL issue. I use the same bio over and over, but most of the time it winds up on reputable sites, so there shouldn't be a major issue even if it is a little similar. Just my .02

Hey, I find your videos really useful, Im doing my own SEO with little knowledge but im going for it, i wanted to ask, If i create profiles on external websites and copy and paste biography information with a link to my site below onto several websites, will google punish me for this as 'duplicate content'? |
