I think Ringling Bros. is working hard to stop animal abuse of their animals. That's why they have that sanctuary in Florida.

"Studywar," I agree that speciesism is the biggest problem of our time, yes, but saying performers deserve to get hurt is likely to put animal rights in a bad light. animalactivist . com has really good ways to get involved in all those issues.

They definitely do NOT deserve to get hurt, but "studywar" is talking about Ringling's terrible record of physical and psychological abuse of it's elephants and other animals.

Bestie: if you haven't heard, Ringling Bros. is the most cruel of corportate circuses there is. There's lots of information on them, but you have to do some digging. Don't just accept that they're "a good" circus; find out for yourself. They suck, they really do.
