To show you that when you keep only one thing in mind, other things can change without you noticing. You had your focus on that the card or deck was going to change colour - but didn't notice that everything else did too.

Nah, they never moved to grab anything. Only when the camera was off of them. They didn't do anything while the camera was on them.
