My 1957 Plymouth History & Subsequent 66 Furyous Relocation
The following slides depict some signifigant moments in time that two Plymouths were an intregal part of my life. A 1957 Belvedere is chronicled first, up until the bittersweet day I sold her (my 1966 Fury VIP is in the background - loaded and ready to transport me from NY to CA). From no rust original to a Fire Engine Red color, the 57 "Bertha" was my second vehicle disassemble and restoration (accomplished by me one Winter in my parents old garage). Images of my ongoing 23+ years with the VIP transcend from painting prep for resto by me and the custom Artist Mike Depalma, cool places, cross country trip (in three days - leaving NY, rainy Ohio, crossing the Mississippi, Rockies, Desert, stop at Grand Canyon), Furyous women, California, inclusion in novel cover art, and some fun with the law. I have resurrected many mopars, always keeping the 66 VIP as the numbers fluctuated. Selling the 57 was necessary both logistically and financially in 1994.
When my "vintagemachines" writing endeavor revs-up, I would love to relocate Bertha and reunite two of my vehicular wifes once again. The time is nearing for a "57" road trip, until then, a 56 plymouth wagon "Sharky" will quench my steel crafting passion. Visit my channel and videos to live life in the fast lane with quality machines and to read plugs for the Furyous novel Seven Skins (now live, courtesy of SCRIBEWORX.NET) by Bruce Alexander (myself). Two more of the large as life vehicles performing on my channel will ride the Fury's wake, and will be running-hot in the catastrophic sequel Geologic Genocide. On 5-5-2008 discovered "Bertha" was shipped to England then Sweden around 2004:\ Purchased a 57 Black & White Savoy 4drhdtp "Finesse" on 5-11-2008 :D
