in fact they ARE emo...but not the way "emo" is used today. Emo meant (in the 80s) music that is kind of "punky" but the texts are not fun punk or only "hate the gouvernment"-stuff...it meant: sing about life, about feelings (not only bad moods but also "fuck am I happy" stuff) ...but you're right, they're not the modern emo...hell not
