http://www.ted.com In a world of too many options and too little time, our obvious choice is to ignore the ordinary stuff. Marketing guru Seth Godin spells out why, when it comes getting our attention, bad or bizarre ideas are more successful than boring ones. And early adopters, not the mainstream's bell curve, are the new sweet spot of the market.

You know what's remarkable? Seth Godin is the voice of Big Bird !!

Okay, I noticed "something remarkable" to comment on: the french bread baker started off dead and used to live in Paris, and by the end of the topic, he was alive in living in London?

How to market your idea: 1) choose an audience that is receptive and of a similar age-group & socio-economic status so that they relate to you and are more likely to laugh at the right times 2) speak loudly and with energy 3) repeat you main point over and over (but with different examples) 4) keep it simple 5) film the talk so that others can hear the audience clapping and laughing thus suggesting the idea is worthwhile investigating 6) sit back and watch as your fame and book sales soar

Seth Godin's shirt and pants reminds me of what Steve Jobs(CEO of Apple Inc.) would where. Doesn't it?
