Dave Mason is the most under appreciated musician of all time. He just released a cd with all new songs on Oct 14. Here is a quote from Billboard magazine "It reveals Mason not only as a solid, focused, and relevant songwriter in the rock idiom, but as an expressive vocalist of uncanny power and depth (he's actually gotten better over the decades). His guitar playing has continued to develop and grow: he is a far more interesting player than his peer Eric Clapton is at this stage of the game".

Mason is one of the most under rated guitarist and musician in his generation. Youtube some of his other stuff, his licks a pure clean and his voice may be the best of the remaining classic rockers left out there.
